The development of new solutions requires systematic and targeted experiments on the right scale – and for this, the city itself is the best setting. Therefore, our urban laboratories have been created for the development, testing and demonstration. This provides important knowledge about which solutions can be scaled to larger areas of the city and benefit all of Copenhagen. Additionally, the city laboratories deliver an important foundation of knowledge about investments in new technology.
