Danish Business Authority and Alexandra Institute, together with a series of partners, including Copenhagen Solutions Lab, invite to ‘Smart City Hackathon 2015’ on the 29th-30th of May in Copenhagen.

Smart City Hackathon 2015 enables IT professionals, business developers, researchers, students, businesses, entrepreneurs and domain experts to meet around the development of prototypes and concepts within data-driven, smart city solutions.

We call for a wide range of problem solvers – for example engineers, developers, designers and communicators. In addition to providing smart cities a helping hand, the hackathon is your opportunity to network across companies, study, skills and interests.

The Danish Business Authority is the main sponsor of this hackathon, where the focus is on smart citites, open and big data.

The aim is to work with and around questions such as:

– What is a smart city?
– What is open and big data?
– How to make money on this?
– What challenges and opportunities are there in these areas?

Network with frontrunnere!

The hackathon is a network arrangement where you get the opportunity to meet the leading organizations in Denmark, that relates to smart cities and big and open data. You also get the opportunity to work with competitors and business partners, and you get inspiration on how to navigate the smart city complex.

Pitch your case!

We will have pre-defined cases provided by the partners which will be pitched initially during the hackathon. Additionally, it will also be possible for participants to stand up and pitch their own ideas that others can join in on. You will have one minute to pitch your idea.

Win the prize!

At the end of the hackathon we will hold a pitching session where all the active participants will have the opportunity to show what they have worked on, and our jury will be able to gain an insight into the projects to assess!

See more and register!

It is free to attend, registration is however required.
